Greetings, you have reached the webpage of the College of Rencester, Barony of Tir-y-Don, Kingdom of Atlantia. This is a student chapter of the Society for the Creative Anachronism, which is a non-profit educational organization devoted to the study of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, between the years 600-1600. We are located on the campus of the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, Virginia.
A little about Rencester: "Rencester strives to bring the Middle Ages to our Campus. During our meetings we engage in a wide variety of activities including: making medieval cloths, learning songs and dances and planning events where we can put our knowledge into action, just to name a few. . . . There is much to do beyond the activities held on campus. The SCA group of the Tidewater area, Tir-y-don, holds a myriad of activities ranging from archery practice to working on armor. These activities are held in the local area and you can almost always find a ride. But the best part of all is the weekend events were the populace gathers from miles around to share in feasting, gaming, and martial activities." -- Sarah Prunier, 2000
