The Chicago Celtic Fest is a two day free event held every September. This year's was memorable not for the bands that played but for the amount of rain that fell. Rain played havoc with schedules, staging, etc. However, even though the first part of Saturday wasn't the greatest, the Larkin and Moran Brothers, The Elders, and Great Big Sea kicked butt. There is also video from the Trinity Irish Dancers. Unfortunately, Sunday was canceled. I got up there and there was a middle green sign on the information desk that said festival canceled. I was looking forward to Leahy. Ah well.
